Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and integration of software solutions, with a focus on Magnolia CMS. Excellent Java programming skills are essential for this role, while knowledge of Magnolia CMS is a plus but not a requirement. Familiarity with React, other Java-based CMS platforms, and system integration will be advantageous. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Develop and customize software applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices, using Java programming. Integrate different systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solution designs. Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure the performance, security, and scalability of software applications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software development, system integration, and performance. Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in Magnolia CMS. Provide technical assistance and guidance to team members, promoting best practices and maintaining high coding standards. Very good English & German is a plus. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered. Excellent Java programming skills, with a strong understanding of Java frameworks and libraries. Familiarity with Magnolia CMS is a plus, but not required. Willingness to learn and work with Magnolia CMS is essential. Knowledge of React is a plus Experience with other Java-based CMS platforms is a plus. Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
