Job Description In your role as a Solution Architect, you will help to: facilitate and guide projects, to ensure business and technology are aligned supervise and direct large-scale client engagements on the overall technological architecture ensure re-use and scale of our knowledge and methods share, train, and orchestrate to map client needs to Merkle capabilities What will be your role? You will be the bridge translating business requirements into products and technical functions. You will take ownership of a client solution across teams and technologies along the full project lifecycle. During the delivery, you will link customer staff and internal groups to ensure customer needs are mapped to our organization’s skills and capabilities. Internally you will help provide assets and knowledge transfer to ensure the growth and scalability of our offerings and the solution architecture practice. Qualifications You have an excellent understanding of modern and appropriate technologies for Customer Experience and hands-on experience realizing eCommerce and/or CMS (Content Management System) projects in a corporate/enterprise context for 5 years. You have knowledge of one or more topics like integration, search, security, scalability, operations or similar with a special focus on complex and heterogeneous architectures. Initial understanding of how to design solution architectures that support clients in delivering transformative customer experiences. Strong communicator: Comfortable dealing with customers, leading and steering topics, develop buy-in, engage across organizational units. Ability to speak with businesspersons as well as technologists in their language. Leadership skills in orchestrating and resolving inter-program and cross-functional topics.
