We’re recruiting for a growth-focused Consultant with consulting experience to join our Sustainability, Assessment & Assurance team in Italy based in Milan or in one of the other Italian Offices. This is an exciting opportunity to achieve growth in your competencies by doing, ensuring service excellence for clients and playing an important role in supporting Senior Consultants within the development of relevant projects. We help clients implement, improve, and demonstrate their commitment and progress towards sustainability. You will get the opportunity to win, lead and develop our work on a wide range of sustainability services primarily focused on Sustainability report assurance, ESG and sustainable finance, supply chain sustainability, sustainability strategy and climate change consulting. When doing this, you will get the opportunity to engage with many of the leading companies and brands across a wide range of sectors and to leverage a suite of services and digital technologies to scope and deliver innovative solutions. Key Accountabilities: You will be expected to lead the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of sustainability services, including: Sustainability Report Assurance and Advisory ESG, green bonds & sustainable finance consulting and assurance services Climate change, GHG and decarbonization topics. Sustainability strategy, SDGs mapping. You will be expected to contribute to the growth of and delivery for a range of sustainability services including: Supporting Senior Consultants in proactively seeking to identify customer needs, developing tailored solutions and selling these to new and existing clients. Participating in projects, collaborating to ensure they are executed according to clients’ expectations, on time, on budget and following DNV quality standards. Supporting and communicating effectively with your project teams and clients. Collaborating in writing thought leadership for the team to be published internally and externally to generate the correct profile and market engagement in Italy. The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes: Experience in Sustainability Report Assurance including relevant standards (e.g.: GRI Standards; Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures – TCFD; Sustainability Accounting Standards Board – SASB), or strong interest and motivation to work in this field Work experience or knowledge in one or more areas of sustainability services listed in the “Key accountabilities” section ; Academic qualifications relevant to sustainability subject areas, Willingness to travel and work around Italy and the South Europe region and on occasions overseas.
