Job Description – Senior Manager Operations & Excellence HEMAR EMEA (2306145584W) Senior Manager Operations & Excellence HEMAR EMEA – 2306145584W Description OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB: Lead all operational tasks to optimally drive the EU HTA JCA process end-to-end in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring flawless operational excellence. MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS: § Lead the Project Management of the EU HTA JCA process end-to-end and ensure flawless operational excellence. § Facilitate the execution of the EU JCA strategy with input from the EMEA region and global functions as required. § Coordinate the work in relation to the responsible indications with the HEMAR Centres of Excellence and broader functional HEMAR networks within the EMEA region. § Coordinate internal working groups that support the JCA process. § Process management: Managing roadmap, monitoring timelines and execution as well as governance/sign-off. § Coordinate EU JCA Dossier submission process and post submission requirements. § Stakeholder (cross-regional and –functional) engagement and management § Manage communications flow across regions and functions. § Take a proactive role in disseminating and training countries on the new process. Qualifications ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: § A university degree is required. A master’s degree or PhD is an additional asset. § A demonstrable track record of managing complex processes and projects is required. § Experience in Market Access & specifically HTA (either from the pharmaceutical industry, an HTA agency or consulting). § 6 years of directly related experience is required. § A clear understanding of major European price & reimbursement systems and HTA review processes for key international markets is required. § Basic understanding of regulatory authority processes and drug development is required. § Knowledge of document review and management systems § Ability to develop operations guidance / work instructions. § The ability to create alignment across functions and geographies and work constructively with diverse groups in a complex matrix is key. § Team spirit, commitment to excellence, can-do attitude, strategic thinking, business acumen, sense of urgency, accountability and ability to delegate are key attributes for success. § Ability to proactively drive process and operations (workflow management), including stakeholder communications. § Ability to think out-of-the-box and propose creative and solid solutions for very complex problems. § Excellent networking, listening, presentation, negotiation, and scientific writing skills. § “Make it happen” and “roll up the sleeves” mentality, drive and motivation, persistence to achieve goals, and real team player. § Proactive communication to all relevant stakeholders. § Open to change with a flexible attitude to be able to handle a complex, multiple stakeholder environment, both internally and externally. § Seeing the big picture without losing analytical focus with an eye for detail as needed. § Excellent written and spoken English. § Awareness of and adherence to J&J Credo values, SOPs, Policies and Guidelines.
