Network System Administrator

Summary We are looking for a capable Network System Administrator, who wants to manage, support and expand the whole network infrastructure. As a Network System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the overall security strategy, maintaining and upgrading the internal servers and firewalls, and managing and updating the different cloud services used. Key Duties and Responsibilities Day to Day management of the on-premise back-office network, providing essential services for everyday work Regular maintenance and upgrading of the different industrial products (Firewalls, Switches, Virtualizators) used in the back-office network Management, expansion, and hardening of the production network Setup, management, and first-level troubleshooting of company laptops Setup, management, and upgrade of the on-premise hosted collaboration tools (wikis, ticket system, remote repositories, remote archives, control versions for different engineering teams) Setup, management, and upgrade of the different servers (Linux, Windows Server) hosted in the company network Office 365 suite administration Qualifications and Skills Knowledge of common IT practices, network concepts, and distributed systems. Additional experience in DevOps and continuous integration/ continuous delivery pipeline is desirable. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-starting, enthusiastic, and can perform duties autonomously. Required Skills Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field Knowledge of IT systems and applications Knowledge in networks (LAN/WAN) at layer 2/3/4 Preferred skills Knowledge of database and operating system security Hands-on experience in firewalls, virtualizators, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools Expertise in Microsoft/Office 365 administration Expertise in cyber-security practices Benefits Tyvak International S.R.L. is the first European subsidiary of Terran Orbital Corporation, already the owner of Tyvak Nanosatellite Systems Inc., based in Irvine (CA, USA).
