Who We’re Seeking to Join Our Team: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our research team with a specialization in text analytics. This role will involve assisting in qualitative research projects, analyzing textual data, and generating valuable insights to support decision-making. What Success Looks Like in this Role: Key responsibilities of this role include: Work with our research teams and text analytics partner to project manage the rollout of software globally and support in the cleaning, preprocess, and organization of textual data for analysis. Employ text analytics tools and techniques to uncover patterns, sentiments, and trends within the data. Assist in developing and maintaining a qualitative research database. Collaborate with team members to identify research objectives and formulate research questions and standardized ways to analyze and report. Contribute to the creation of research reports and presentations. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in text analytics. What We’re Looking For: 1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a relevant field such as psychology, sociology, communication, or data science 2. Strong interest in qualitative research methods and text analytics 3. Familiarity with data analysis software and tools such as Python, R, and SPSS 4. Proficiency in using text analytics software and libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, and sentiment analysis tools 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 6. Detail-oriented and capable of working independently 7. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team. 8. Basic knowledge of research ethics and confidentiality Where You’ll be Located: We embrace flexible working at Advantage.
