Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics; Finance or related field. Master’s degree is a plus. Computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong interest for the banking and finance industry. Previous experience in corporate banking, client coverage or investment banking. Knowledge of corporate finance, investment banking products, credit analysis, and risk management. Knowledge of the Italian market and good understanding of the economy and needs of clients. Commercial attitude. Results-driven with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build solid relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with different internal teams. Leadership skills through influence, demonstrating the ability to guide and motivate others. The brand new Commercial Banking unit in the country will manage mid-cap Italian corporates with international presence, as well as subsidiaries of BBVA customers in our geographies in Italy. Our main mission will be supporting Italy based companies with a global approach, leading the dialogue at a parent level and providing a global relationship management to be a unique point of contact to coordinate and integrate all the needs across our geographies. About the job: The Relationship Director drives long-term relationships with Italian corporate clients, mainly mid-caps, providing tailored solutions to their global needs and generating business opportunities in the different countries where BBVA and the client are present, maximizing portfolio revenues with proper profitability-risk management. Main responsibilities: Oversee the growth and development of a portfolio of corporate clients, understanding their strategic objectives and financial needs. Lead the strategic relationship with clients at top management level (CFO, Global Treasurer, etc.), providing financial advice and suitable solutions to their needs. Coordinate the relationship with internal teams, Risk Department, Legal and product teams –Corporate Lending, Cash Management, Global Trade Finance, Global Markets, DCM, etc.- identifying and addressing clients’ banking needs and cross-sell opportunities. Manage the global credit relationship of clients, coordinating and supervising the whole risk process, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Identify cross-border opportunities in other countries, working closely with local bankers managing clients’ subsidiaries. Participate in business development activities, including client presentations (Investors day, results presentations,), networking events, and industry conferences.
