The program will simplify the Innovative Medicine ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes in order to have a cost effective, fit for purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Innovative Medicine business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade. The Finance Compliance Senior Manager is responsible for supporting the run state of the digital transformation systems and processes, and to drive standardization and efficiencies across the systems, processes, and controls within their team’s scope. Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities • Leads the Finance Compliance Governance & Risk Management team, whose purpose is to govern, monitor and maintain J&J’s enterprise internal controls within the financial processes and systems. • Responsible for developing, deploying, and governing standard finance compliance processes and providing strategic compliance support to the Enterprise Finance Design organization. Finance compliance processes include Account to Report (A2R), Invoice to Cash (I2C), Finance Master Data (MDM), Supply Chain Finance (SCF), User Access Management (UAM), and any other financial process in scope for FS&T. • Responsible to support Control Owners / Performers throughout the ongoing Internal and External SOX and Operational audits, including development of remediation plans of any deficiencies or gaps identified. • Responsible to direct and collaborate with Control Owners / Performers to ensure that controls are being performed and evidenced in a timely manner and meet all External Reporting, Management Reporting, SOX and regulatory program deadlines • Lead and drive the compliance design initiatives and support execution of controls across our landscape, partnering closely with GPO organizations, Global Services, Internal Audit, IT stakeholders. • Design, implement and support ongoing execution of Business, Finance and IT controls and quality metrics across platforms. • Analyze, troubleshoot, and proactively challenge existing processes and workflows – suggest and support implementation of necessary changes to improve influence/business impact. • Use, analyze and leverage existing data to make / take informed decisions, improve existing processes / systems and simplify and create strong plans with minimum risk. • Design and implement the strategies and governance for compliance monitoring reporting • Support the design, build, and run of internal and external management reporting strategy and governance. • Lead and execute initiatives related to control automation to drive standardization and efficiencies across the enterprise. • Build and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the organization. • Carry out any other duties related to the given scope of practice in support of the team primary activities and objectives. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Required Minimum Education: Bachelor degree required; advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable Other: Previous experience in Finance roles is required preferably in a Commercial Finance role/Operating Company environment Required Years of Related Experience: 8 years Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : • Expertise in financial and IT internal controls • Expertise in SOX 404, US GAAP, and IFRS • Working knowledge of Financial External Reporting and Management Reporting data, processes, and controls • Ability to proactively identify and mitigate process risks. • Deep understanding of continuous process improvement techniques • Anticipate needs, assess and manage business risk taking; escalate issues that may impact their process globally; manage through times of crisis and ambiguity. • Experience working in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment. • People management skills and ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed environment is required Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : · Expert knowledge of SAP ERP platform · Project management experience is a plus. · Knowledge of digital tools (PowerQuery, PowerBI, …) is a plus. Preferred Qualification : Preferred Area of Study: Finance, Compliance, Supply Chain, other related Preferred Related Industry Experience : Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $113,000 – $195,500 The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
