Title: Country Commercial Lead Location: Italy FTE/Duration: Full-time, permanent role Rate: Excellent salary, bonus, shares and benefits An exciting new position with a global Bio-pharma, who are searching for a Country Commercial Lead to join their team. The company manufactures generic active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) that are sold in approximately 120 countries, including the United States and Europe. It also manufactures novel biologics as well as biosimilars. JOB DESCRIPTION Sales & Market expansion goals Attain or exceed sales budgets & ensure that all brands contribute to growth & sales objectives. Ensure: – New prescriptions, customers / markets are generated as per the agreed strategy. – Winner new tenders and create a sustainable network of hospital and regions that adopt company products Implementation of sales & marketing strategies Promote the Company’s existing brands and introduce new products to the market. Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understand market requirements, identify market trends and suggest system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals. Implementing new sales plan Distribution Management Manage distribution channel in the area and ensure that adequate inventories are maintained with distributors and commensurate to the sales plans. Timely submission of product-wise sales forecasts and plans. Team Development Developing the team to achieve the organization objectives through proper guidance, motivation, coaching & feedback. Ensure that each team member follows the sales systems and processes as outlined and make them high performers Inculcating work and reporting discipline within the team. Reporting Ensure timely reporting Submit the Monthly report which includes Sales analysis reports, Key marketing projects status report etc. Key Customer Management & Administration Identify a list of key opinion leaders in the area and develop strong business relationship with these customers to maximize sales output for products. Maintain relationships Approval of fare charts and customized programs as per agreed strategic plan at the beginning of the financial year. Timely approval of travel and activity expense claims. To adhere to the leave policy of the company and encourage team members to use corporate systems for the same. Probation assessment & annual appraisals to be prepared and submitted on time as per given deadlines. Maintaining records of sales & customer. Maintaining records of customer investments made and return on investment. COMPETENCIES Good communication skills, Team Management, Ownership, Accountability, Medical Knowledge, Customer Relationship Management. Preferred Skills Problem Solving Time management People manager Strong Strategic & Negotiation skills BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelors in Pharmacy/graduation in any Science stream, Masters in Pharmacy/post-graduation in science stream. 5 to 10 years of Pharma Sales experience and at least one year experience as a front-line manager.
