JOB TITLE : PROJECT ENGINEER – CIVIL/ STRUCTURAL (FCRS) II. PROJECT NAME : TANAWON GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT III. SCOPE OF SERVICES / DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Field supervision and mobilization, fabrication and erection, identifying outstanding works or activities. Check detailed drawing of the approved design scheme. 2. Prepares responses to plan check corrections and modifications of the design drawings and actual construction outcome. 3. Assist in material and quantity take-off, supervise workers to coordinate with the Engineers and other discipline involves in the project regarding some problem that require technical solution. 4. In charge to handle the list status to update filling drawings related to design changes or any other matter related to as-built drawings and filed markings. 5. Work with the owner’s representative and contractors regarding issues and problems raised on site. 6. In charge for the expedition of all necessary works in the project work program, and able to supervise them for the completion of the given tasks. 7. Monitoring and checking drawings for specifications, including if necessary drafting, checking drawings, and proposing design changes. Preparing or review of method statement. 8. Responsible in all technical works such as shop drawings, bar bending schedules, tendon profiles & cast-in data necessary for the implementation of the project. 9. Liaise with consultants for the approval of works such as casting and delivery of segments and any other related works. 10. Abide to the requirements of the contract documents and standard specifications to the effect in ensuring that all materials incorporated to the project pass all required testing and sampling. 11. Gather quality documents from contractors and coordinate with the Project Quality Supervisor to ensure all data are compiled, reviewed and accepted, also to ensure all are in the document management system in coordination with the document controller. 12. Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives. 13. Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems. 14. Create project status presentations for delivery to contractors, clients and other stakeholders or project personnel. 15. Develop or update project plans including information such as objectives, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing. 16. Identify project needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules. 17. Liaise with the client representative for the negotiation of final account. 18. Progress monitoring and progress reporting (earned value). 19. Costing, built up rate and budgetary for ongoing projects. 20. Compiling of all necessary documents for proper submission of claims. 21. Identify, review, or select vendors, contractors or consultants to meet project needs. 22. Monitor costs incurred and identify budget issues. 23. Monitor project milestones and deliverables. 24. Monitor the performance of contractor personnel and provide performance feedback. 25. Develop detailed project plans. 26. Manage information technology projects or system activities. 27. Participate in staffing decisions. 28. Assign duties or work schedules to contractors if necessary 29. Collaborate with others to resolve technical and project management issues. 30. Coordinate resource procurement activities. 31. Develop operating strategies, plans, or procedures. 32. Discuss business strategies, practices, or policies with managers. 33. Gather contractor performance information. 34. Manage construction activities. 35. Able to use Project management software, Presentation software. MS Office processing software (Excel, Word, etc), Development environment software, Business intelligence and data analysis software. IV. QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES Minimum Education : Bachelor’s degree, Engineering is preferred. Minimum Experience : At least Five (5) years’ work experience in related field and having experience in a construction site, Permits, administrative work.
