He/her will report to the Corporate eMerchandising and Digital Visual Merchandising Manager. The Corporate eMerchandiser will contribute to the definition and execution of a 360° Digital merchandising approach for Gucci.com ensuring to correctly translate the corporate merchandising strategy into the digital context with a close attention to cross-channel specific needs. Key Stakeholders will be Client Engagement & eCard team, Global Copy team, Digital Visual Merchandising team, Global Content team, Regional Client engagement and eMerchandising teams. She/He will also collaborate with Global Merchandising, Marcomm, Social Media, CID and Photostudio. Job Description Key activities and accountabilities in details: COORDINATION ON ENSURING COHERENT CUSTOMER JOURNEY ACROSS TOUCH POINTS Accountable for setting the Homepage Guidelines strategy: build effective rotation plan, product push / asset creative selection and linking strategy Build the seasonal product push plan timeline at a monthly level by collection including special projects Accountable for the elaboration of a strategic and efficient navigation considering the local declination. Partner with Global Merchandising and SEO team to maximize optimization Accountable for the development of the Global DEM, SMS/MMS merchandising masterplan in conjunction with the commercial and communication planning with an holistic point of view. Main activities will be: – definition of the key product messages of the season that are needed to secure Newness and C.over business across all categories in line with product drops – request key assets suites if needed to secure key product themes and regional nuances are covered – by collaborating with CE team development of the eCard library for both Men and Women defining key tactical eMerchandising strategies of cross/up/down selling – definition of the linking strategies for a coherent yet optimized journey – development of the Masterplan to guide Regions designing their regional approach securing coherence with global calendars, Homepage rotation, Key commercial/project launches and global commercial plan – work closely with regions to collect needs and coordinate the regional planning ensuring correct client targeting is safely provided Planning and execution of the Merchandising launch plan for Beauty: Work closely with global and Regional Merchandising, Marcomm and Consumer Management to coordinate new product launches Roll out of the Launch plan by market, Beauty Calendar update, DEM plan, asset prioritization Define eCard/SMS/MMS Masterplan Brief Content team on the Merchandising needs for Product launches and Navigation set up update Ensure high efficiency (business and brand equity) and timely planning (at corporate and regional levels) of ad hoc cross category pages. Main focus will be: cross category projects and special capsules Weekly TB with regional teams: point person from corporate eMerchandising to regions and vice versa GG Tag walk project management Profile The Corporate eMerchandiser has strong knowledge of product merchandising principles, understands e-commerce rules and business, has interest in the digital landscape with a knowledge in the Fashion Luxury world. Creative and passionate with a determined, can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. Data driven mind set Qualifications: Previous solid experience in Retail/Luxury Retail in Merchandising or Buying. E-commerce experience strongly preferred Strong analytical skill and nice to have proficiency in Google Analytics Passion for the fashion industry, commercial awareness with knowledge of competitors Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate and work internally across all teams Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management and problem-solving skills Enthusiastic individual, open minded and sociable, keen on working and relating with people in a dynamic and challenging environment Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Fluent English Gucci is committed to building a diverse workforce.
