Description: A remote Mechanical Designer position is currently available at Belcan. This is a full-time direct job with benefits. Great matching candidates will have at least seven years of mechanical designer experience in aerospace and an associates degree in a related field. Job Duties: Solid part modeling and drafting using CAD NX, Solidworks Complete tasks using customer standard work Create and present at customer design reviews Peer review completed deliverables of team members prior to submittal to customer Help address NX questions and act as an informal mentor to lesser experienced team members Required: Seven or more years of experience as Mechanical Designer within Aerospace and an Associates degree in a related field or ten or more years of experience as a Mechanical Designer without an Associates degree Expert level of proficiency in NX CAD software Ability to work within an integrated product development team Strong interpersonal skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $52,000 to $72,800. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
