DELIVERY MANAGER GLOBAL ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS The IT Delivery Manager will be responsible for the application maintenance and new developments for the systems used for general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, controlling, consolidation and regulatory reporting, tax, procurement, real estate and other applications specific for Finance department. The team works in close cooperation with the other IT areas, with the aim to guarantee defects free applications availability and on time/on budget delivery of new developments. Support will be provided to the IT application manager to play active role on international initiatives, as well as to the business in the definition, impact and adoption of target solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain and monitor systems and applications in scope, support the business to meet deadlines • Assure the compliance with the internal procedures and policies • Ensure that new implementation and projects are planned and executed in line with business strategy and group IT standards REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Information Technology • Proven experience (e.g. 5 years) working in insurance finance operations • Knowledge of insurance accounting and in particular IFRS related principles • Strong background in IT applications and systems, with focus on SAP • Knowledge of Software Lifecycle, Agile and Waterfall • Successful teamwork experience and leadership abilities to manage IT teams • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders • Proactive, results driven team player • Excellent problem solving skills • Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken 34242 | IT & Tech Engineering | Professional | Allianz Technology | Full-Time | Permanent Allianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
