Configuration and Deployment Lead

We’re looking for a Platform Configuration and Deployment Lead . Role purpose Within the scope of Service Support and Application Operations for all Service Platforms: Design detailed processes, procedures and pipeline to manage configuration, integration/build and deployment for all Service Platforms (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) Design detailed Infrastructure to host application source code, runnable artifacts and configurations (Technological Environments) which allow to run application in all developments stages (Development, System Test, Integration and Production) for all Service Platforms Build and maintain tools, scripts and code that allows to deliver Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment and Technological Environments practices, as mentioned above, aligned with Technology Strategy and Technology Architecture Main tasks Support the activities of the Configuration Management and Deployment (CMD) Team, Support the onboarding of each Development Supplier to the processes/procedures, taking care of the constraints of each technology used, promoting the most fluent process for the Development teams and the Software Lifecycle. Support the external and internal Development teams that use the Technological Environments to speed up any troubleshooting concerning the delivery items. Control and ensure that the SW repositories (Source Code and Builds) structure, managed by Development teams, maintain alignment with the SW promoted in each Environment and with the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment defined by the CMD Team Control and ensure that the Technological Environments remains aligned with Continuous Deployment procedures and practices defined by the CMD Team and support coordination of Deployment activities managed by Service Support and Development teams (internal or external) Support the management of the Middleware Layer, such as the activities to maintain up to date the SW Version of each framework/product in use, according to the release plan goal. Design (starting from High Level Design provided by Technical Architecture Manager) detailed solutions (Low Level Design) within the scope. Manages consistent documentation of technology design within the assigned scope Keep strong architectural alignment with Technology Architecture Team and other Delivery managers and Integration Manager. Support effective communication towards Technical Project Managers, Integration team and Technology Operations team Core competencies, knowledge and experience Degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or equivalent Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT role Strong Knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle and CI/CD methodologies and automation script language, as Ansible, Puppet Knowledge of CMDB methodologies Knowledge of native cloud technologies: Kubernetes, Argo CD, Gitlab Knowledge of static code analysis patterns and tools, such as Sonarqube, finalized to meet the Corporate security and quality level Knowledge of one or more SW stack: RedHat preferred Basic Knowledge of DB (Oracle, MS Sql) knowledge of SQL script automation tool Nice to have: knowledge of SCM Manager, Git and build plug-in (Maven, Visual Source Safe, Gradle, XCode), Nexus Knowledge of project and issue tracking tool such as Jira Soft skills Passion for continuing education and improving quality through interaction with other teams Problem-solving and decision-making skills with a “can do” attitude Good communication among teams Goals orientation and stress resilience Fluent in English We recognize and celebrate the importance of diversity and inclusivity in our workplace so that we are as diverse as the customers and communities we serve.
