Whitin the Business Line Energy Carriers, the Mechanical Department is looking for a STATIC EQUIPMENT LEAD Mission within the department and/or the project task force: leadership of engineering activities for static equipment within the specific project, in accordance with the relevant technical requirements and project management guidelines, within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards. Major tasks and responsibilities PLANNING OF THE JOB: 1) operating phases as verification of EMH project budget, implementation of the project targets and identification of the contract criticalities, definition of the engineering activities and deliverable lists, mapping of resources demand, identification of any issue regarding the schedule, resources allocation function of the activities execution plan, evaluation of the possible involvement of other engineering centers and / or external companies; 2) functional phases and practices as checking the availability of the basic information for the job start-up, implementation of the equipment list and assignment of the proper commodity code to any equipment, definition of purchase orders lots and of RFQ plan, definition of the design “basic” philosophies. PERFORMANCE OF THE CONTRACT: 1) operating activities as preparation of technical annexes for engineering to be subcontracted and coordination of engineering subcontractors, preparation/issue of engineering specifications, issue of RFQs, coordination and monitoring of the activities relevant to: preparation of technical documentation for equipment procurement, technical bids evaluation, vendor document follow-up, management of Client’s comments, attendance to kick-off meetings with vendors, support to project management for technical interface with Client, support to project post-order function for management of Vendors’ ITPs and NCRs; 2) management activities as monitoring the job schedule, the proper discipline workflow and the interfaces, monitoring of discipline progress, management of engineering and scope of work changes, application of the necessary actions to prevent, absorb or minimize any deviation from the budget and / or schedule. Requirements: Proven experience (at least 5 years) in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies; Proficient in English (B2) Availability to travel abroad to offices and construction site Soft Skills (Personal Skills o Competenze Trasversali) Team working, good leadership, goal-oriented Place of work Milan Contract type: permanent, salary package commensurate with the level of experience Gi Group S.p.A. è autorizzata ad operare dal Ministero del Lavoro (Aut.
