Job Description Role Mission The Senior Manager, Digital Operations is a critical leader overseeing the client journey through the product lifecycle on Gucci.com. With a key focus on the post-purchase experience, the role ensures it is designed and executed to achieve performance targets and exceed the expectations of our luxury clients. This role works cross-functionally with the Digital department, Client Services (G9), Supply Chain as well as our parent company (Kering) Logistics and 3PL teams to develop and implement a client-centric approach for our omnichannel goals. The Senior Manager will lead the requirements definition and/or implementation of strategic digital initiatives in North America that support the vision. Key initiatives will often be in alignment with the Worldwide (WW) Digital team roadmap and include projects identified at the regional level to support business needs. The Senior Manager can think and plan strategically for the longer term, operationally deliver pragmatic solutions in the short- term and function as an enthusiastic business partner. Key Accountabilities Lead the requirements definition and/or implementation of strategic digital initiatives in the Americas to support regional vision and in alignment with WW Digital team; Optimize Digital operations by building out a streamlined and dynamic reporting and monitoring framework of key performance KPIs and SLA goals (order processing, fulfillment, shipping, and delivery); Utilize data to drive insights and business impact, shaping process improvement to facilitate a seamless client experience in delivery services; Build plan to address opportunities identified through underperforming areas of operations, define prioritization with Gucci stakeholders, Kering operations or local vendors; Assess warehouse capacity utilization and identify improvement opportunities identified through underperforming areas of operations, define prioritization with Gucci stakeholders, Kering operations or local vendors; Identify and deliver opportunities to reduce and optimize return and exchange processing, including return methods, product and reason trends, client experience, etc.; Manage outbound packaging ordering and inventory management to support brand’s unboxing guidelines; Identify and find resolution on client friction points and adjust systems and operations; Deliver key seasonal plans in partnership with key Gucci and Kering services partners, such as: volume forecasting and labor scheduling, shipping services and cutoff optimization; Deliver regional digital product roadmap and systems support by defining local operations opportunities via data driven business case build, with subsequent implementation support and sustainment via execution, training, communication; Drive omnichannel performance and efficiencies by collaborating with stakeholders, reviewing KPIs and building action plants Define escalation protocols and key annual hypercare plans; ensure completion of root cause analyses and define, document, and follow through on action plans; Lead with vision and data-driven decision making while developing a high performing team to launch transformational initiatives to streamline efficiencies and productivity in operations, process management, and process innovation . Key Requirements 6 years of experience in ecommerce, operations, logistics/supply chain or similar relevant analytical roles; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Consulting, Supply Chain or similar desired; MBA strongly preferred; Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required; Strong knowledge of site reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and ability to quickly learn internal systems and processes; Excellent analytical skills including evaluation of digital operations performance and fulfillment; Maintain a start-up mentality to move the business forward; this means being resourceful, collaborative and a creative solution-seeker; Work across a diverse group of stakeholders in a range of different departments and roles to drive towards a shared solution / outcome; Proven leadership and influencing skills; The ability to define functional requirements, reflecting a deep understanding of how an ecommerce business operates; Excellent communication skills: ability to clearly articulate to a wide audience the operational dynamics of the business, develop a case for new tools and initiatives, document clear business requirements and project status. Salary Range – New York City For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, GUCCI includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.
