Join our passionate journey and fulfil your potential and creativity.We are currently seeking a Worldwide Transport Operations Manager Road who will report to the Worldwide Transport Manager as part of our dynamic team in Trecate. Your opportunity You will be part of the WW Transport team handling the Transport Operation Road for our Brands with the best service providing an excellence support on all transport needs, in cooperation with other departments. You will manage a dedicated team of Transport Specialist to deliver results and solutions on time, with quality and in cost. You will lead special project/initiatives to implement and deliver advanced solutions, improvements, and new processes. How you will contribute Daily manage a team of Transport Specialist to drive transport operation flows with leveraging external partners (forwarders broker) and regional counterpart (Brands and internal regional Team) Ensure a consistent achievement of all the business requirements from a transport operation prospective and assure daily Transport operations in line with agreed KPIs Manage all incidents and unexpected events occurring during transport operations and provide timely communications and action plan Proactively collaborate and interact with all the external providers collaborating to design all transportation request or special projects (tailored solution) Actively supervise all transportation production by identifying risks and bottleneck situations in advance . Actively define mitigation and control mechanism to protect and maximize our overall service to the brands Coordinate, organize and control inbound from production, return , outbound flows of all purchased/sold goods, according to delivery priorities, partnering with selected freight forwarders Manage direct relationships with shippers in order to identify and solve any possible problem Verify that shippers and stores receive all the necessary documentation to monitor the imports and the shipping progress Ensure deliveries are done on time and respecting all requirements (transit time, quality, cost) Follow up special shipments, updating Brand Retail/Supply Chain departments (new opening, special collection, private sales, urgency) Interact with the Brand Customer Service teams to provide customers with timely information on shipments’ progress / exceptions Report issues, service failures, operational hiccups into transport ticketing system and actively partner with internal and external stakeholders, including Technology department Properly and timely address claims to the dedicated company department Who you are Proven experience in the transportation field at multichannel companies or even at first relevant couriers/transporters with global presence and complex organizations An individual with a robust technical background in transportation gained in a company with a multinational distribution network, built on operations department within complex organization in a global landscape Pragmatic leader and fast to respond to Operational transportation events and business demand An excellent problem solver with strong organizational skills, able to handle priorities and deadlines with an entrepreneurial mindset Flexible, adaptable and proactive manager able to coop also in high stress, fast-paced environment within complex organization You have strong ability on stakeholder management and effective communication skills A professional data oriented, with a quantitative mindset and high level of attention to details Systems savvy with advanced Excel knowledge; Power BI skills as a plus Sensitive and pragmatic approach to research / implement sustainable transport solution Master’s degree in business management or Engineering as a plus Italian and English fluent (both written and spoken), French is a plus Why work with us?
