Sidel

Sidel is looking for the Manufacturing Heavy Parts Manager. She/he, in accordance with the company procedures and lean methodology, has to drive all activities from PBOM release (Production Bill Of Material) for manufacturing production orders to component's delivery. He/she will mange the departments of Machining Heavy Parts, Carpentry, Production planning, Surface Finishing and will lead and cooperate with all the support functions (Technical department / Methods&Industrial Eng. / Procurement / Project Management Supply / Sourcing) in order to achieve the targets of SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).

Your Mission

  • Ensure the execution of the activities according to safety rules and defined standards, implement improvements and prevent dangerous or unsafe behaviours
  • Responsible for the safety and security in the workshop area;
  • Responsible for the workshop of Manufacturing and related external areas for organization, processes developments and materials flow
  • Guarantee the requested Quality of the parts and related documentation as per flow defined
  • Guarantee the performances of the machines applying TPM (Total productive Maintenance) and managing the OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) improvements
  • Lead, promote and support, the initiatives of SQDC continuous improvements applying Lean methodology;
  • Guarantee the performance of Manufacturing resources and manage them optimizing their contribution according with the workload
  • Involve all workforce and the other functions in continuous improvement projects
  • Evaluate, track and develop the skills of the team 
  • Interface between Manufacturing departments and the other functions

Your Profile

Level of education and languages:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent
  • Mechanical & Industrial processes
  • Italian is mandatory

Requiredexperience and skills:

  • Several years’ experience in Manufacturing (make to order) technologies and processes (turning, milling, welding, surface finishing)
  • Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma tools and methodology
  • Experience in resources & departments management
  • Leadership skills and strong sense of teamwork
