We are looking for a R&D Senior Hardware Engineer to join our Electrification business.
You will identify, propose and implement innovative technology, software and/or solutions by contributing with own ideas.

This position reports to

R&D Team Lead

Your responsibilities

• Realize the design of architecture and technical details, the circuit simulation and the development of electronic project which requires knowledge of analog, digital and low power electronics.
• Take care of the design optimization by identification of technical, architectural and circuitry solutions, exploiting the highest integration with the rest of product (mechanical part, sensors and implementation) and collaborating with the Company departments involved in the Product Development Process (Marketing, Engineering, Quality, etc.).
• Run the project development, implementing the executive drawings, the all project documentation (from pre-feasibility studies, to detail design documents which the test plan or whatever other required) and the required product documentation.
• Carry out preliminary tests for design pre-validation, analyze the quality and reliability of the product at the theoretical level as well.
• Support the Test Lab during all the testing phases, evaluate synthesis of reports of Test and Quality Laboratories and express your definitive opinion on validation of final product.
• Draw up the technical documentation required for production of the electronic product and carry out activities to support and maintain the product when requested.

Your background

• An Electronic Master Degree.
• Expert in design and analysis of power conversion topologies and analog signal conditioning/filter stages.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications. Experience with EMI design and troubleshooting. Good knowledge of oscilloscopes, function generators and others test equipment.
• Familiar with electronic board re-working, with Altium software or equivalent and with PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Excellent command of both Italian and English.
• Proactivity, ability to create innovation, negotiation and networking skills.
