The Position:

The National Training Manager for the Oncology Business Unit at Daiichi Sankyo plays a pivotal role in fostering a performance collaboration and Innovation culture. They are responsible for enhancing product and disease area knowledge while maintaining a competitive skill set in compliance with regulations. Play a key role in a continuous improvement culture leveraging the new innovative approach and trends.

Responsibilities:

1. Training Program Development and Delivery:

  • Design, plan, and manage customer-facing induction training programs for optimal employee effectiveness and integration into the organization.
  • Implement key metrics to evaluate and maintain clinical knowledge in customer-facing roles with regular coaching and feedback.
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify requirements and proactively implement training solutions.
  • Communicate the success of training interventions.

2. management of all customer-facing roles competencies :

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide tools and methods to conduct effective training.
  • Establish quality measures and monitor coaching capability to reduce variance in standards.
  • Use data for benchmarks and drive desired behaviours and outcomes.

3. High-Performance Culture and Personal Development:

  • Foster high-performance culture in partnership with HR team- HR business partner.
  • Encourage self-development and explore effective learning techniques for industry-leading talent.

4. Innovation:

  • Research and Analysis: Constantly monitor market changes, industry trends, and new technologies to identify opportunities for innovation. Working with BI manager in order to understand customer needs and industry gaps.
  • Idea Generation: Collaborate with internal teams, departments, and other stakeholders to gather and develop new innovative ideas. Foster creativity within the organization and encourage participation from all team members.
  • Idea Evaluation: Assess proposed ideas to determine their feasibility, potential value, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives. Identify the most promising solutions for further development.
  • Project Development: Coordinate and lead innovation projects from ideation to implementation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define action plans, deadlines, and resources required to drive innovative initiatives forward.
  • Innovation Process Management: Define and implement processes to foster an innovation culture within the company. Ensure transparency, efficiency, and collaboration among the involved teams.
  • Collaboration with External Partners in partnering with HR Team: Work with suppliers, business partners, universities, or other external organizations to exchange knowledge, acquire complementary skills, and leverage synergies to promote innovation.
  • Budget Management:
  • Results Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the impact of innovation initiatives, measuring achieved results against predefined objectives and monitoring implementation.
  • Reporting and Communication: Regularly present progress and results of innovation initiatives to company management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

– Master's Degree (or equivalent) and at least 5-10 years of relevant experience.

– Pharmaceutical knowledge (Oncology experience could be preferable)

– Coaching experience and strong communication skills.

– Proven ability in training program design and delivery.

– Flexible and hands-on mentality with a proactive approach to work.

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
