We are currently working with a leading pan-European Bank who are looking to add a FIG M&A Director+ to join their team in Milan. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced M&A professional to join a highly reputable firm and work on some of the most complex and high-profile transactions in the market.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the origination & execution of FIG M&A transactions
* Work closely with senior management to develop and implement the business strategy
* Manage and mentor junior team members
* Develop and maintain relationships with key clients
* Conduct in-depth industry and company research
* Communicate with clients, lawyers and other external advisors
* Ensure the delivery of high quality work within tight deadlines

Requirements:

* 9-15 years of experience in FIG M&A (NBFI – Asset Management, Insurance & FinTech)
* Fluent in Italian and English
* Strong academic background
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven track record of executing FIG M&A transactions
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
