Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link RWE Renewables Italia S.r.l., Rome, Milano To start as soon as possible, Full time, Permanent Functional area: Engineering As a solar engineer you will be responsible for supporting the development, design, installation, commissioning and operations of utility-scale solar and storage plants in Italy Responsibilities • Creating layouts and single line diagrams for utility-scale solar and storage plants to support project development • Performing energy yield assessments for utility-scale solar and storage plants to support project development • Supporting the regulatory and permitting process for utility-scale solar and storage plants • Supporting the construction RFP (request for proposal) process by writing technical scope of work documentation and evaluating bids with quantifiable measures • Coordinate technical requirements and deliverables with other engineering disciplines (electrical, civil, I&C, storage, etc.) throughout development, construction, and procurement process • Managing external engineering firms during entire design and construction process • Performing site visits during development and construction to manage design process • Researching latest trends in solar photovoltaic and storage technologies • Continuously working with development, construction, and procurement to optimize projects and lower LCOE (levelized cost of electricity) of entire project portfolio Qualifications/Skills • Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical, civil, mechanical, renewable energies or related engineering field • At least three (3) years of experience in the role • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD • Advanced proficiency in PVsyst • Advanced proficiency with satellite meteorological datasets • Proficiency in QGIS a plus • Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English, other languages a plus Apply now with just a few clicks: ad code 82153 , application deadline 14/07/2023 .
