General Hotel Operation Manager

Our Client, a Luxury Group in Hospitality industry , is searching for a General Hotel Operation Manager to manage all organizational and development activities. The General Hotel Operation Manager will directly report to the CEO and will be a member of the Executive Committee . The General Hotel Operation Manager has the following main duties: Focus on making time, information, decision process more effective 4 parts of the job: air traffic controller, integrator, communicator, honest broker and truth teller concerns about productivity, poor information flow that slows decisions ability to understand and empower CEO’s vision Other important activities will be: Understanding and transmitting the culture of the group Transmit passion about wellbeing and encourage entire organisation and customers to live a better life Move sustainability to the core of everything done by the Group Constantly foster innovation Understand who customers are, both core and target What’s the company missing at present? Someone to take the ideas and turn them into an articulated strategy How to extract the “secret sauce” from the main Luxury Resort and apply to other openings Create and execute standards and procedures, without loosing the spontaneity How to scale-up: what needs to be replicated and how, what can be centralized vs done on property, what’s the right organizational structure Execution, getting things done Project management: set deadlines, chase people, make sure everyone is doing their part Main characteristics the ideal candidate should have: Experience in leading change and developing processes Hotel experience not mandatory, but would be a plus Experience in scaling up businesses in similar fields (i.e. restaurants) would be a plus Project management Creating standards and procedures J-18808-Ljbffr
