Procurement and Transport Specialist

To reinforce our Purchasing & Supply Chain Department we are looking for a Procurement and Transport Specialist based in Villafranca di Verona (VR) who, will be responsible for the Procurement Intercompanies activities in compliance with company procedures, to ensure the correct logistic process flows of information and products in order to achieve defined targets for customer service level. Main responsibilities will include processing purchase orders, tracking orders, creating and maintaining adequate inventory levels and liaising with inventory teams and management to minimize stock out and supply chain risks. The procurer will work closely with other departments ( customer service ) to forecast the needs of the business and make purchase decisions based on demand. Support to transport team to Monitor the transfer requests and organize the IC Plant shipments, analyse Shipping data in detail and/or support such analyses for various purposes. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Managing the purchasing order planning for finish products and raw material according System’s rules; Monitoring weekly the respect of POs in terms of quantities, delivery dates and quality resolving issues and concerns; Communication with suppliers in accordance with production planning / customer demand needs; Provide updates about procurement related progress and potential delays on a weekly basis; Control, analysis and monitoring of inventory and other purchase data Making savings and optimizing on purchasing costs and transport cost; Support transport team collecting and tracking all sea, road and air shipments from internal and external vendors; Managing special shipments (air- road- train) in and outbound. Collect and verify the monthly Key Performances Indicators Preparing reports and maintaining accurate date into the system; QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering or a similar field preferred; 2/3 years of experience as a Procurement and Transport Specialist or in a similar role; Strong Analytical thinking, excellent knowledge of MS office, good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and MS Acces; Problem Solving Advanced level in english ability to communicate effectively in multi countries/sites environment JDE Knowledge not mandatory, but preferable Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
