IT Support Specialist Milan

As an IT Support Specialist within our IT department, you will play a crucial role in enabling seamless IT operations. Your responsibilities will encompass delivering IT solutions, implementing security protocols, aiding end users, and supporting business applications. You will also contribute to change management initiatives and the deployment of our internal IT Integration Framework. In collaboration with PIB colleagues in the UK, external vendors, and solution providers, you’ll be an integral part of driving IT projects and advancements in the South European region. The role is primarily based in our Milan office and offering hybrid options to ensure a healthy work-life balance. Responsibilities: Maintain strategic cloud-based solutions, including Microsoft 365 suite, identity management, and collaboration applications. Provide support for company IT infrastructure, covering end user computing, operational systems, networking, and communications. Collaborate in the deployment and management of cybersecurity applications and frameworks. Participate in infrastructure evolution and change management processes, with a focus on the Journey to Cloud process (AWS-based). Offer internal enterprise application support and maintenance, working closely with external vendors. Deliver expected results within defined timeframes and with a high level of quality. Actively support Due Diligence operations for the acquisition of new players in the South European region, and participate in subsequent IT infrastructure rollout projects for newly acquired entities. Experience: Possession of a technical degree from a college or equivalent experience Proficiency in Microsoft 365 for client-side support and tenant administration Strong expertise in end user computing, IT infrastructure, networking, and communication Proven project management and delivery capabilities Fluency in English, facilitating effective collaboration with international stakeholders Positive, collaborative, and enthusiastic work approach Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and a dedicated commitment to continuous improvement Exceptional attention to detail Familiarity with cybersecurity practices Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) Understanding of the insurance market Join our dynamic team and contribute to the evolution of IT operations in an exciting phase of growth and transformation.
