Job Responsibilities The competence area Materials for Severe Applications of RINA CONSULTING – Centro Sviluppo Materiali provides a comprehensive and diverse range of technical services to support end users and steel/alloy manufacturers in material qualification and selection, corrosion risk assessment, corrosion management for metal/non-metal materials. We are currently searching for a candidate with a demonstrated background in material science, chemistry, electrochemistry to join our team in Castel Romano (Roma). This is a client-facing role reporting to the Area manager. The successful individual will be responsible of: Leading R&D projects Scheduling activities for the analysis and evaluation of materials and testing Responsible for the development of technical proposal, with a good liaison with the laboratory Writing reports and discussing with clients The role will require a few years of experience. PhD will be considered a plus. The position is open to graduates in chemistry, material science/engineering, physics or similar. The candidate will have the ability to face new challenges daily, to be a versatile and flexible team player with good communication skills, to have attention to detail, ability to write clear, concise and accurate reports and ability to work with tight deadlines.
