Job Opening cod. 12486 CMCC Position (Junior Project Manager) (Deadline: October 9th, 2023) About Us The CMCC Foundation is a scientific research center on climate change and its interactions with the environment, society, the world of business, and policymakers.Our work aims to stimulate sustainable growth, protect the environment and develop strategies for the adaptation and mitigation of climate change. What We Are Looking For Our Division of Ocean Predictions and Applications (OPA), located in Lecce, is looking for a new position of Junior Project Manager, responsible for Daily implementation and management of ongoing EU, national and regional funded projects, from an administrative and budgeting point of view, supporting OPA scientists; Budgeting, financial reporting and control, tracking and monitoring of projects; Risk management and data management; Internal and external communication; Meeting facilitation and project events’ organization. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: M.Sc degree in Scientific disciplines or Management Engineering; Relevant knowledge of European Funding Programme (H2020/Horizon Europe) including ethical issues, data management plan, IPR management, Risk management and contingency plan, Quality control and assurance, and other National/Regional/Local funds; Minimum 2 years of experience in project management; Very good command of English language. ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Very good command of the Office suite and IT project management tools; Excellent organisational skills and high attention to details; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Teamworking attitude and ability to work independently. Compensation & Benefits The contract will start from October 2023. The type of contract will be based on qualification and working experience; The gross annual salary range is from 28 to 36K Euros (plus benefits), depending on qualification and working experience; Private health care coverage; Welfare package; Possibility to access flexible working time as per internal policies; Support during the immigration process, if needed.
