If you want to know more about us, give a look here: Join us as a Data Engineer What you will be doing We are seeking a skilled data engineer with expertise in the following technologies: dbt, Fivetran, Looker, Kinesis Data Streams, Avro, S3, Redshift Spectrum, and Redshift Data Sharing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and be able to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data warehousing solutions, and reporting and analytics systems using these technologies. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Fivetran to ingest data from various sources, and dbt to transform and load data into Redshift. Develop and maintain data integration processes using Kinesis Data Streams to enable efficient and reliable data transfer between systems. Create and maintain data warehousing solutions using Redshift that are performant, reliable, and scalable, including using Redshift Spectrum to access data stored in S3 and Redshift Data Sharing to securely share data with other accounts. Develop and maintain data models and schemas using dbt to support reporting and analytics needs. Build and maintain reporting and analytics systems using Looker to enable data exploration and visualization. Monitor and optimize database performance in Redshift, ensuring that data is available and accessible to users in a timely and accurate manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data engineering solutions. Implement and maintain data security and privacy measures to ensure data integrity and compliance. Document data engineering processes and solutions to enable knowledge sharing and facilitate onboarding of new team members. What we need We are looking for an exceptional Data Engineer to design, build and maintain the platform that delivers accessible data to power decision-making at Satispay. You have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3 years of experience in data engineering or related field. Strong experience in designing and implementing data pipelines using Fivetran and dbt. Experience in data warehousing solutions such as Redshift, including experience with Redshift Spectrum and Redshift Data Sharing. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data architecture. Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Experience with Kinesis Data Streams and Looker. Experience with Avro and S3. Familiarity with data governance and compliance frameworks such as GDPR. You are: A strong problem-solver, with the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues. An excellent communicator with collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
