WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Choose and size the main components of the refrigeration circuit of the Heat Pump and chiller units according to the technical criteria defined Develop thermodynamic and fluid dynamic simulations using CFD software that help optimize designs, predict product performance and validate product behavior before production, thus helping to limit dependence on expensive physical prototypes and speed up the commercialization of more innovative products To evaluate and compare different project alternatives and to fully understand the possible implications of each design choice according to current and future Directives and Regulations in the field of Eco-compatible design Define the technical specifications of the product based on the indications of the R&D team leader and industry standards in the thermomechanical field. In the development of new or existing products, propose innovative solutions in the area of expertise with the support of the work team, laboratory staff as well as measuring instruments and test chambers Actively collaborate with laboratory staff to carry out the standardized tests of which it initializes and data processing in order to validate the project and allow continuous improvement Carry out the tests required by the sector regulations on the products, even in existence, and to compensate with the choice of alternative components, any critical issues in the procurement process Report in a structured way the activities of its competence, planning the workload and deadlines under the supervision of the R&D team leader Participate in the analysis of non-conformities by giving willingness to evaluate and propose all resolving interventions for all company functions that are influenced by its design WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Degree in Energy Engineering or similar will be a preferential element Proficient understanding and know how in processes, technologies, products or other relevant field of expertise Having already gained experience in Technical Offices in companies in the HVAC sector is an element to be preferred The knowledge of refrigerant circuit, thermodynamics hydraulics and electronics Being an advanced user with Excel calculation sheets and CFD Simulation tools English upper basic level The knowledge of modelling software, the predisposition to conceptual analysis supported by calculation and knowledge of the LEAN methodology represent a plus; Willingness to travel both for information and for maintenance, even abroad Ability to adapt, flexibility, desire to learn and accept challenges, to take responsibility for one’s role Understanding impact of legislation and law regulations relevant to the business or function WHAT WE OFFER YOU International work environment Flexible working hours Generous mobile working option High Work-Life Balance ABOUT US / CHI SIAMO Panasonic is one of the largest and leading electronic product manufacturers in the world.
