Morgan Asset Management Exchange Traded Fund (“ETF”) business was formed in 2014, with the first UCITS ETFs launched in 2017. We are executing an ETF strategy that spans asset classes, including equities and fixed income. The EMEA ETF business leverages the firm’s numerous competitive advantages, including industry leading research and investment insights, in order to lead ETF sales activities to all client types in EMEA, including Funds, Global Liquidity and Institutional clients. The J.P. Morgan ETF business has grown rapidly to over $120 billion AUM with a focus on leading the development of active ETFs across the industry. We are currently the largest active manager of ETFs in UCITS and largest by net active flows globally YTD 2023. ETF Client Advisor Role Summary The EMEA ETF team seeks a driven and committed ETF Client Advisor to join our organization in Italy, with a primary focus on building direct institutional and insurance accounts. This role will be based in Milan and report into the EMEA Head of ETF Distribution. We are looking for individuals with sales or relationship management experience who can help us grow our ETF footprint in Italy, specifically with direct institutional and insurance accounts. Our team puts clients first so we are looking for candidates that share our enthusiasm for delivering a first class client experience. Strong and clear communication is an essential requirement for this role. As you will be part of a broader team, collaboration and teamwork is an integral part of everything we do. You should have the motivation and confidence to proactively engage and lead client conversations throughout the sales process. Therefore, you should share our passion for creating an exceptional client experience and managing our business in an ethical and compliant way. Job Responsibilities Develop deep relationships across the institutional client base with particular emphasis on investment decision makers, portfolio managers, traders, etc Partner with our Funds & Institutional Client Advisors on ETF sales calls as the subject matter expert Prepare and deliver product presentations to prospective and existing clients at meetings, conferences, road-shows and via telephone/zoom Provide clients with capital markets insights regarding ETF primary and secondary market trading Leverage a consultative sales approach across channel to drive net new ETF assets Engage clients in discussions about new product concepts and solutions to help solve complex client challenges Take ownership for this client channel and deliver on your business plan Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Existing relationships in the institutional channel, preferably pension funds and insurance companies, with capacity to prospect new external relationships Strong understanding of the Asset Management industry, including active and passive strategies Deep background in the ETF landscape with competitor, product, and capital markets familiarity Proven track record of developing key internal and external partnerships with sales teams and individuals Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently Experience developing and executing on a data driven sales business plan within a defined channel or region Willing to take ownership of tasks assigned Reporting line: your direct reporting line is the Head of ETF Distribution, EMEA.
