The Role of Assistant Reservations Manager:

We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Reservations Manager to join our Four Seasons Hotel team in Milan a nd San Domenico Palace, Taormina Italy, based in Milan.

This role reports to the Reservations Manager in Milan and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Reservations and Telecommunications department for both proprieties ; understanding and applying the principles of occupancy and rate to achieve maximum yield. Responsibilities will include talent leadership and development, focusing on quality assurance, call and email conversion, maintaining global standards and working closely with the Worldwide Reservations Office, being actively involved in revenue management decisions, actively driving sales for the hotel by maintaining business relationships, controlling room and rate availability, working with Sales in handling group bookings, and preparing and distributing occupancy and revenue forecasts.

Our Ideal Assistant Reservations Manager candidate will have:

Reservations department leadership experience with a solid understanding of revenue management, along with experience in the rooms division in a luxury, fast paced environment. Additionally you will be a passionate and motivated leader with excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong business acumen, excellent analytical, organizational and problem solving skills, an eye for detail, a passion for service, be able to work well under pressure and to deadlines, and have a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities.

Ideally you will also have five – star luxury environment experience, and you must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian.
