Rome Business School seeks an innovative and experienced leader to join our team as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Faculty Development. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the continuous improvement and growth of our academic programs, ensuring they align with the institution’s strategic goals and maintain the highest quality standards. This role reports directly to the Dean and requires excellent knowledge of Italian and English. Responsibilities: Oversee the design, development, and improvement of academic programs , ensuring they align with the institution’s mission and strategic goals. Implement a comprehensive academic planning process , including scheduling classes and academic activities. Manage the academic quality assurance processes , ensuring all programs meet or exceed the institution’s quality standards. Develop and implement strategies to maintain and enhance certifications, accreditations, and memberships with relevant organizations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful integration of academic planning with other institutional functions, such as marketing, career center and admissions. Support faculty development, including selection, management and mentoring Assist the Dean in setting strategic goals , budgeting, and resource allocation for the Academic Affairs and Faculty Development area. Requirements: A Ph.D. in a relevant field from an accredited institution. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an academic institution, preferably in the area of academic planning, program design, or quality assurance. Excellent knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken . Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in higher education, including curriculum design, accreditation standards, and quality assurance processes. Proven ability to manage teams, build relationships, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels within the organization. Demonstrated success in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of academic programs. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
