Associate Manager, Collection Merchandising Menswear page is loaded Associate Manager, Collection Merchandising Menswear Apply locations Milan time type Full time posted on Posted 2 Days Ago job requisition id R_763567 Milan The Merchandising Associate role is to collaborate managing the RTW, Underwear, Beachwear and Soft Accessories Men’s offer by defining the range of products, supporting the sales activities during campaigns and monitoring respective performances. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with the other Merchandising teams in developing the strategic plan for the Product category and influence cross-functional team to deliver strategic direction for the category. Collaborate in defining the new collection structure with Design and Product team and assist to collection reviews with design office. Develop relationships with cross functional peers across Design, Product Development, Industrial operations, and Retail/Wholesale merchandising teams. Sell-in and sell-out analysis by collection, market and channel of distribution and propose appropriate actions on future offer. Qualitative market analysis (trends, competitors offer, pricing architecture), collaborate with Retail/Wholesale merchandising teams to gain collection/product feedback. Collaborate to the collection pricing and partner with Pricing office for currencies development. Support in the seasonal fabrics’ pre-order process. Sku count monitoring aimed at the best collection efficiency. The candidate will also support the Collection Merchandising team in: Collections’ presentations to explain direction, inspirations and products. All the sales campaigns activities: master files updating, collection editing, collection walk-thru. Develop collection training Manual. Deliver any ad hoc administration/reporting and assistant duties to ensure smooth running of the team. Profile: Bachelor Degree in Fashion Studies or Economics Must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role; Passion for commerce/product Demonstrates commercial instinct Strong Analytical skills Retail maths skills Advanced skills in Excel Fluent in English and Italian.
