The role
The ideal candidates for this position will have at least +5 years of experience as a Back-End Developer and an interest in the FinTech space. You will be part of a team with other developers and report to the Go To Market Technology Manager to play an important part in developing and managing the company's Risk and Compliance platform.
The candidates have experience working in an international and collaborative environment following an Agile Methodology and have a genuine interest and passion for the technologies they use.
You will participate in the design and development of product features, write high-quality code, and technical and functional specifications; you will deliver one or more requirements on time and inspect, and analyze reported bugs and defects.
About you
- Proven experience with Java, Spring Frameworks, JPA and Hibernate
- Experience with Spring Boot and the microservices architecture
- Knowledge of the build systems (Maven), version control systems (Git) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins)
- Firm understanding of protocols like REST and
- Knowledge in Service Discovery patterns (Eureka, Consul)
- Knowledge of messaging and streaming platforms (Kafka, Active MQ, RabbitMQ, SpringStream)
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Aurora) and Amazon AWS
- Knowledge of the Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban)
- Good knowledge of the English language (both written and spoken)
It would be nice if you have
- Experience with defining and using APIs in a microservice infrastructure
- Deep knowledge of JVM and the garbage collection mechanism
- Knowledge of web security, authentication, and authorization
- Experience with docker-based containers
- Knowledge of cloud applications (AWS, S3, Lambda)
- Contribution to open-source projects or achievements in programming challenges are a plus
