YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT As Bijoux Procurement Specialist , and part of the Product Development Department, you will be responsible to guarantee planning and procurement process of bijoux and fine jewelry, assuring the arrival of materials respecting time schedule, costs & quality according to the demand planning. This experience will enable you to collaborate internally with the Purchasing, Quality and Industrialization Department, externally with the suppliers and the Central Supply Chain Office based in Paris. You will have the opportunity to gain international experience and build up knowledge on the business processes on luxurious goods working in increasingly challenging environment and on engaging projects. YOUR IMPACT Implement procurement strategies with purchasing, industrialization and quality area and ensure the proper attribution of the suppliers. Manage the stock level by analyzing and anticipating the need of the raw material Manage procurement orders ensuring the respect of procurement parameters (minimum order quantity, pricing scale, production lead-time …) Follow up the ordering process from order entry to payment (correct mistakes, find alternative solutions in case of problem, track lead-time and quantity, etc.) Follow up on returned materials for quality issues in collaboration with Quality Department Assure the reliability of the procurement planning and the respect of time schedule, costs & quality with weekly visits at supplier’s production sites Manager the weekly launch in production for bijoux packaging process Quantify and follow-up packaging orders assigned to external suppliers Update supplier’s reports analyzing the related risk and monitoring the supplier’s service rate Manage the scouting of new suppliers Analyze bijoux demand planning from central supply chain (Paris) vs Production planning Manage the weekly follow-up on deliveries to give visibility to the Central Supply Chain (Paris) and put in place recovery plan Manage the Business Review Meeting with suppliers and internal Department Profile KEYS FOR SUCCESS Education : Master’s degree in Engineering/Economics or equivalent experience in Procurement field Experience : Position requires minimum 4-5 years’ experience in Procurement field Experience in luxury/fashion business a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment Detail oriented, highly organized Cooperative with good teamwork and solid communication skills. Advanced user of MS office (Excel, Power Point) and at ease with the use of Internet tools.
