Job Description We are currently seeking an Account Executive who will report to the Vice President of Wholesale as part of our dynamic team in New York. Your opportunity The Account Executive role is accountable for growing Bottega Veneta’s wholesale business through partnership with leading online retailers and independent retailers. The position is responsible for approx. 30 points of sales throughout the America’s region. The roles main objective is to actively drive sales by selling seasonal collections during the campaign and identify revue-driving opportuning by analyzing current sales, competitive landscape and future trends. In addition, s/he is responsible for executing initiatives to open new doors and grow existing client base. This position requires domestic and international travel to promote Bottega Veneta brand strategically. How you will contribute: Account management Consistently achieve monthly and seasonal sales plans and annual target Build relationships with buyers and store staff through daily/ weekly communication General understanding analytical ability and knowledge of selling reports to drive business Explore new accounts and business opportunities to be present for approval Create and review weekly/ monthly selling recaps(by client/ category) with actions to drive sales Work in partnership with accounts on financial plans and sales targets prior to start of the season Drive incremental sales by monitoring seasonal reorder opportunities, stock levels and permanent programs Monitor shipping for responsible accounts Monitor stores presentation and performance ensuring they meet brand standards Create WW briefs for marketing/ asset request for responsible accounts Manage all special orders for accounts Market week/ Seasonal campaign Present collection to clients during market appointment in Milan Collaborate with accounts on selection and coordination of seasonal buys by providing consistent feedback with the support of sales data Market week preparation including appointment scheduling, analyze current business to create strategies for the upcoming collection Enter clients’ orders during sales campaign and send client order confirmations once finalized Work with accounts to substitute any cancellations to ensure sales are not lost Creatively present the collection to clients unable to travel through line sheets and other visual tools Track customer orders during the campaign to ensure seasonal target is achieved Product Training/ Merchandising Coordinate with BV training department and sales assistant to create monthly training decks to send to in-store teams, including product knowledge, selling tips and VM/ merchandising guidelines Frequent market visits to assess product assortment coherent with sales and image of the stores competitor benchmarking, visual set up, events, new opening etc. Partner with VM in order to guarantee the correct support/ guidelines in-store Provide BV WW Merchandising department with monthly feedback and sales analysis Special Projects Create briefs to propose special projects and new store/ act openings and visual merchandising or marketing requests Special projects department leader; plan in partner with WW and Regional teams, execute and lead all selling events for accounts Liaison with accounts executives to keep them updated and involved where needed Create and manage timeline and check list for events Create WW briefs for each event Keep meeting notes and send recaps after each meeting to appropriate audience Liaison with VM and Marketing teams on their involvement in the project Create an inventory of all VM tools that can possibly be used for projects Misc. Comprehensive knowledge of retail landscape and competitors’ business Upload monthly selling data for HQ reporting system Partner with DOS merchandising team to maximize U.S. inventory across both channels Liaison with key partners in the Milan office and worldwide team Analyze customer base and apply clienteling guidelines to foster client relationships and loyalty Perform projects and assignments as needed/directed by Manager Ensure the highest level of customer service with all partners Schedule travel arrangements using best judgment to maximize individual travel budget Partner with Sales Assistant to create EOM selling report for headquarter Who you are: Minimum 3 years of wholesale experience preferably in the luxury market Proven ability to thrive in a goal-driven and fast pace environment including achieving and exceeding financial targets Exhibit a strong work ethic, leadership skills, high energy level, and detail/team oriented Complete Proficient in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Excel ( v-look ups, Pivot tables, formulas) and Word Produce professional quality PPT decks to be presented to management Possess exemplary verbal and written communication skills; working knowledge of the Italian language is a plus Ability to problem solve in a self-sufficient, resourceful manner resulting in creative solutions Intermediate retail math skills Capable to travel domestically and internationally approx., but not limited to 2 weeks per month Ability to work flexible schedule including holidays, nights, wknd as needed to support retail stores hours and events Complete Proficient in PowerPoint, Photoshop, Excel and Word; experience using skypad program is a plus Salary Range – New York: Salary range of $70,000-80,000 (plus discretionary bonus) Why work with us?
