Job Description We are currently seeking and WW E-Commerce Merchandising Planner as part of our dynamic team in Milan. Provide weekly and monthly reporting on digital business performance across all categories and regions, supporting the understanding of merchandising trends with analysis and reporting Forecast Ecommerce global sales and local demand evolution in order to guarantee the appropriate level of inventory in line with corporate targets Highlight possible business risks and opportunities based on historical data, understanding of the digital luxury market, brand strategy and plans Produce and maintain the Merchandising Plan in accordance to the Ecommerce merchandising strategy while respecting corporate parameters Define and validate the Open to Buy according to merchandising plans and overview Sales Campaign from a quantitative standpoint. Follow up OTB application throughout the season with insights and analysis Forecast and consolidate future demand volumes to support achievement of sales target, both at a global consolidated and a local level Develop and distribute to Ecommerce Merchandising team and main stakeholders official weekly merchandising reports Support Retail organization and Merchandise Managers with data and analysis, draw conclusions about opportunities / threats and follow through to execution Make consolidation/reallocation recommendations to global and/or local ecommerce warehouses to optimize Inventory efficiency Partner with Allocations Manager to drive replenishment, bulk allocation, consolidation and transfers to ensure “right stock, right place, right time”, both of Seasonal and of Permanent products Who you are: 2/3 years’ work experience, preferably in (at least) one of the following sectors: merchandising planning, financial control or planning, business development or analyst, preferably related to Ecommerce / Digital business Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience Experience in using analytical tools/system, retail or OTB planning is a plus Deep understanding of Ecommerce and Digital specific trends and challenges Strong analytical skills and numerical sense with attention to details Strong communication and time management skills Sensitivity to the luxury industry Positive, embracing changes with problem solving attitude Strong leadership skills with good team spirit Excellent knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Access) Fluent in English, Italian is a plus Demonstrated commitment to creating and maintaining a fair, inclusive and diverse working environment that values and utilizes the contributions of all Why work with us?
