The Company: JB Andrews is partnering with a global logistics company to help them embark on a major mission to establish a substantial global freight forwarding organisation. We are working with the Vice President – Freight Forwarding Europe and he plans to build branches in strategic hubs across Europe, and Genoa in Italy is one of them. The Role: Establish a Genoa branch from scratch. Full responsibility for the branch by way of PL, operations, and recruitment. Manage & lead of team of Air, and Ocean freight operators, field sales, and team leads. Drive growth of the products. Support the regional / global network. Establish best practice and modernise the business. The Requirements: Bachelor’s degree educated or equivalent. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry. Proven success and experience within the Genoa. Experienced in setting up or growing freight forwarding branches would be advantageous. Excellent organisational skills Excellent written and verbal skills Due to the large number of applications if you have not heard anything within 14 days then unfortunately you have been unsuccessful.
