Responsibilities

As our Business Development Manager, you will primarily oversee regional business growth, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities and guiding leads from proposal to closure. You will also enhance the business development capabilities across European territories.

  • Driving Growth : As the European Business Manager, you will be at the forefront of expanding ABG Lab’s medical device portfolio in European countries. Your mission will be to implement our sales and marketing strategy, maximizing sales, account development, market penetration, and share. Your expertise will be instrumental in refining and optimizing the plan and collaborating with our global business team.
  • Brand Ambassadorship : Taking ownership within the territory, you will be the primary representative of ABG Lab, fostering exceptional customer support and establishing key partnerships with stakeholders within the aesthetic industry. Your ability to build strong relationships will be critical to our success. The role will oversee marketing, events, and initiatives—working closely with regional business partners.
  • Converting Leads to Relationships: You will be the driving force in efficiently converting leads generated by the marketing teams at ABG Lab into valuable and sustainable business relationships. Your skill in communication and negotiation will be pivotal in establishing successful collaborations with a primary responsibility of leading and coordinating business development and ensuring profitable strategies that drive revenue growth across all areas of Europe.
  • Engaging Events and Launches: Being at the forefront of our growth, you’ll attend international congress events and exciting ABG product launches, showcasing our latest innovations to critical players in the industry.
  • Achieving Targets: Working closely with the VP of Business Development, you’ll be responsible for achieving set targets and contributing to the future business plans for the designated territory, playing a vital role in our continuous growth. This includes overseeing business development targets and KPI analysis for European markets.
  • Educational Support: Coordinating and delivering academic support programs within the territory, you will collaborate with doctors and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), ensuring our products are utilized to their full potential.
  • Market Intelligence: You’ll maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the marketplace, brands, and customers, providing valuable market intelligence to the team to inform our strategic decisions. This will include a monthly management report gauging business development KPIs.
  • Collaborative Excellence: As a member of the global business team, you will share experiences and knowledge and contribute to the development of your fellow team members.
  • Understand the underlying technology to vet and understand complexity versus speed-to-market considerations.
  • Be data-driven and track metrics and KPIs to provide feedback/analysis to business stakeholders on how the range is utilized.

Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree-level education, preferably in a commercial field such as business, economics, or administration, although we are open to considering other relevant qualifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and any European language, enabling effective communication with stakeholders across the region.
  • Proficiency in software required to conduct your duties properly — Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Confluence, Hubspot/Zoho/Salesforce CRM, and other relevant software suites.
  • A self-motivated individual, comfortable taking initiative and possessing strong planning skills. While you excel as an individual, you are equally adept at team collaboration.
  • Direct experience working in dynamic teams, driving processes, and interacting with vendors and key partners to ensure the delivery of projects against aggressive timelines.
  • A proven track record of growing business by winning new accounts and developing existing accounts, consistently achieving KPIs and targets over 3-5 years.
  • A commercial acumen complemented by excellent negotiation skills allowing you to secure valuable partnerships in a global environment.
  • The ability to cultivate and maintain professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinic owners is crucial to this role.
  • Ability to convey highly strategic concepts into deliverable results to both internal and external teams/clients
  • Experience in the Aesthetics sector and/or Dermatology will be an advantage, though not mandatory.
  • Responsible, dependable, self-starter/proactive with solid initiative.
  • Willing and able to travel as needed – domestic and international.
  • Vital networking and partnership management skills
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
