As a Business Development Manager to Water & Wastewater your mission will be to drive Smart infrastructureand Digital Industries opportunities related to water vertical market. Itincludes working with prospects, partners, and customers to drive Siemensportfolio, identifying, and implementing new opportunities, as well asdeveloping business prioritization/strategic account plan for our CountryItaly, reporting to the Head of SI Business Development and functionally to theHead of DI Vertical Sales. Your main activities will be: Contributeto the development of a local strategy for Water Busines exploring themarket to search for new potential customers and partners, Be theinternal / external referent for any regulatory framework & PR relatedto the topic, collecting all the relevant information needed, Identifyvalue chain participating in the “new market” (End users, Engineering companies,System Integrators, EPC, Installers, EGHs and PBs) to define the G2M inalignment with SI / DI Strategy, Define ayearly water action plan, ensuring the implementation of go-to marketrelated strategies for Water Business, such as operational activitiesenabling the exploitation of these markets. Provideand review consolidated business forecasts for Water Business. Value proposition and offerpresentation: Collectspecific product and solutions requirements, define eventualproduct/solutions gaps for water opportunities also in agreements with theevolution of the market and its regulatory framework, Definesolution offer & pricing for direct opportunities thus supportingindirect opportunities according to customer situation in coordinationwith sales manager and business unit, Coordinatewith the DI and SI Business Units in order to present, when required, onlyone Siemens offer on the market. Participateand contribute to sales & marketing action plan to develop waterbusiness opportunities, with specific attention to digitalization. Optimallyhandles the assigned customers through consultative selling of solutionsand deep knowledge of applications and customer processes, Responsiblefor the achievement of the agreed targets according to the specificportfolio, Definewith DI and SI sales leader cross action plan and target for sales, Advisesenior management in evaluating strategic options. ApplySales Operation tools and models, digital strategies, and Marketingapproaches to Water Business Key account management: Reportpipeline opportunities in CRM tool, Monthlyreview meeting with DI HQ Vertical Market KAMactivities on identified customers: develop and implement strategy, Go toMarket, account business plan and reach the agreed targets for keycustomers identified for SI / DI, To be a perfect fit for this role, youmust have: Validatedexperience in Business Development role Educationalbackground in Engineering with Mechanical specialization preferred Passionto never-stop growing.
