Job Number: R0161896 Computer Scientist, Senior Key Role: Work as part of an integrated team to formulate and define solutions utilizing a strong background in Linux foundations.Focus on providing customers expertise to leverage their existing software and create new capabilities. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. Basic Qualifications: 5 years of experience with coding languages, including C, Python, GNU Tools, and Linux Kernel Experience with implementation with CI/CD pipelines Experience with test automation Experience with Agile and Waterfall development procedures Experience in setting up test beds Experience with Linux on ARM-based platforms Experience documenting test results, KPI metrics, and test coverage and communicating issues effectively TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field and 5 years of experience in software engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field and 3 years of experience in software engineering. Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
