In this role your skills and technical expertise will contribute to a variety of design projects. You will be creating and executing designs for solutions as part of the Engineering team in MOTION, Traction division in Genoa. This includes drawings, calculations, bill of materials, engineering instructions and processes. This position reports to Senior Project Lead Engineer Your responsibilities SW design for auxiliary power converters. SW requirements definition and SW documentation editing according to the railway standards and Abb Processes. Design of SW for field communication ( CAN, TRDP, MVB ) and diagnostic/testing Interfaces. Support to power and testing activities during Type test and Routine test phases. Commissioning activities supporting the end customers. Your background Master Degree in Electronic, Electrical or Computer Engineering 3 years of experience working as Software Control Engineer on Power converter (Methods and Strategies for different power topologies) Really proficient on Matlab Simulink Simulation environment. Experience in C, C++ languages, Microprocessor DSP, FPGA programming. Initiative, creativity and great attention to detail, team spirit. A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills. Fluent in English. More about us We look forward to receiving your application.
