About the role: This role can be based in our offices in Milan, London or completely remotely (open minded about where in Europe you are based. We are looking to reinforce our growing data team by hiring a Data Engineer who will be actively involved in shaping the direction of the company. You have a passion for data, for its supporting technologies and you enjoy facing business problems building data driven solutions. Your technical skill set makes you comfortable with all the different steps of a typical data pipeline: from the collection, transformation and integration stage, up to the analysis and reporting step. You love transforming data into actionable and scalable reports and solutions, and this will be the ultimate goal of your daily activity. The Team: Joining Moneyfarm data team you will be at the very heart of the company, dealing both with technical and business stakeholders. You will be a part of a passionate and motivated team made of expert data engineers, data scientists and data analysts, aiming at providing insights and solutions to boost company growth. Responsibilities: Design, implement, optimise and deploy ETL pipelines in production. Monitor and maintain existing ETL procedures in the data platform. Monitor data quality within company data warehouse and discover potential issues Collaborate on maintenance and evolution of Moneyfarm’s data models. Collaborate with data analysts and product teams to understand data requirements, and implement data transformations and aggregations to support their analyses and modelling. Collaborate with Platform Engineers to develop and improve data platform, and workflow scalability Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy and maintain machine learning models. Contribute to the documentation of data processes, architecture, and guidelines for the wider team. Approximately 3 years of relevant work experience in data engineering roles BSc or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline Significant skills and exposure in ETL design, implementation and maintenance Strong proficiency in SQL, experience with Python Experience with AWS cloud computing services (in particular Redshift, DMS, S3) or similar Exposure to Business Intelligence platforms (Tableau) nice to have Ability to merge the multiple requirements of data projects into robust future-proof solutions.
