DEFENSE CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM MANAGER You will serve as a DEFENSE CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM MANAGER in the CNE-CNA-C6F, Naples Italy, Department of navy of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE . Locality pay is not authorized overseas. 25% or less – You may be expected to travel for this position. Travel is dependent upon position description and availability of funding. Yes—Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) for candidates outside of the commuting area are authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations and Department of Navy policy. Current permanent employees of DoD, Former permanent federal employees, Current or former Interchange Agreement employees, VEOA eligibles, and DoD Military Reserve (MR) and National Guard (NG) Technician Preference eligibles and DoD Retained Grade Preference eligibles. You will facilitate the coordination and monitoring of Mission Assurance remediation Corrective Action Plans (CAP). You will conduct Critical Asset Identification Process (CAIP) You will implementing Mission Assurance and Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP) policies to protect or ensure continued function and resilience of capabilities of DoD Mission Essential Functions You will facilitate the integration of 17 Mission Assurance Related Programs and Activities (MARPA), actions, and issues throughout the area of responsibility You develop management plans that align with Mission Assurance program goals and objectives. You will analyze program objectives, policies, and progress to identify trends or deficiencies and manage risk. You will develop strategic plans to meet long term program goals. You will develop management plans that align with program goals and objectives. You will manage project technical resources (e.g., analysis, development, design, implementation, integration, troubleshooting) to support requirements. You will conduct informational briefings on organizational programs and policies. You will establish objectives, priorities, and deadlines for programs and projects. You will analyze Mission Assurance program objectives, policies, and progress to identify trends or deficiencies and manage risk. You will manage defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) deficiencies and corrective action plans and prepare plan of action and milestones to mitigate or correct issues to support mission requirements. You will develop defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) plans and milestones for site assessments and inspections. You will maintain a DCI project portfolio to keep senior leaders current on project status. You will develop corrective action plans to mitigate mission assurance program deficiencies. You will advise senior leaders on defense critical infrastructure issues, concerns, or deficiencies that impact an organization’s ability to meet its mission You will brief managers on the status of Mission Assurance program milestones. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Provide advice on vulnerabilities to mission essential infrastructure and warfighting capabilities; 2) Assure availability of mission critical systems to reduce mission risk; 3) Maintain defense critical infrastructure program databases for an organization; 4) Apply mission assurance doctrine policies, processes, information flow to counter asymmetrical threats. Physical Demands The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities. The work may require travel to domestic and worldwide localities in order to participate in conferences, seminars, site visits and operational deployments. Work Environment The work is typically performed in an office setting, or conference room both ashore and at-sea. As mission requirements dictate, the incumbent will also be assigned temporary duty within DoN AOR. Education There is no education requirements for this position.
