DevOps Engineer Remote

Description:  Belcan is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a remote opportunity. We are looking for a creative and adaptable individual who can provide infrastructure and operational solutions to a dynamic software development team at one of our most distinguished customers. You'll work alongside our customer team and other Belcan team members to create quality technical solutions for commercial, government, and military applications.

The DevOps role is in our Enterprise Software team, part of our Engineering Solutions group. Job Duties:
Great candidates will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, and a minimum of six years of work experience in DevOps. You will be designing and implementing solutions that provide security, scalability, continuous integration and delivery, and quality analysis. You will work in a collaborative team environment to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will get the chance to investigate and prototype solutions to address the intricate challenges our customer is facing. You will solve problems.

Our customer require that candidates be US citizens (dual citizenship cannot be accepted).

Required Qualifications:
· Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
· Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
· Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
· Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications:
· Six years as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
· Proficient in Linux
· Experience with Python, C/C++ build tools, REST API integration
· At least five years of experience providing scripted solutions for deploying software, application security, containerization, as well as creatingmaintaining of CICD(continuous integrationcontinuous delivery(or deploy) pipelines that ensure software quality delivery via Jenkins and Groovy
· Strong ability to analyze and provide solutions to increasing efficiency and reducing 'bottlenecks' in the development process, or CI/CD pipeline
· Proficiency in deploying, maintaining, and management of tools and the infrastructure
· Proficiency with Coverage Testing tools including MCDC (Modified Condition/Decision) coverage
· Proficiency is Configuration Management platforms (GIT, SVN)
· Proficiency in Program Management working in an agile environment with rapid delivery
· A strong background in high-quality software development
· Strong background in scripting (bash, powershell, etc)
· Experience utilizing and setting up Static and Dynamic Analysis Tools
· Ability to present complex SW designs to peers and customers
· Experience managing Software Change Control on a Large Program
· Experience working with Program Management on a Large Program to solve complex issues including technical, schedule and budget

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $120,000 -$130,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
