In 2021 Incorp Holdings has acquired from Group Tui the property and a new relaunch project is ongoing under the lead of the CEO with the objective to renovate several facilities, increase the service level for the guests, evolve the three business units with new business propositions and further developments. THE ROLE We are currently seeking an experienced HR Director to join our team and oversee the human resources function of our three businesses: hospitality, agriculture, and real estate. Reporting to the CEO of the company, the HR Director will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support the growth and success of our businesses. The HR Director will be responsible for managing a team of four HR professionals and overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and HR administration. They will need to have a strategic vision and the ability to develop HR strategies that support the seasonal nature of our business and the important repositioning plan that is taking place. They will work in partnership with the CEO and Executive colleagues to anticipate future trends and needs for the business, deliver a highly engaged, productive and passionate employee base through the execution of effective talent management, engagement and communication initiatives and processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy & Culture § Be the strategic advisor to the CEO and the Executive colleagues on all people matters, supporting them in building and evolving a team which will outperform the competition; § Act as the cultural ambassador and story-liner for the business; support the development of an enabling company culture with hospitality excellence at its heart. Work across the organization to bring it alive through strategic and tactical initiatives and internal communications; § Define and lead the HR strategy and agenda to build an exceptional employer brand that is leading edge, innovative, attracts the best and brightest talent and builds organizational capability; § Optimize activities such as hiring, training, development, and performance management to ensure these efforts support the company’s growth and financial success; § Promote diversity, equity and inclusion, support and influence leaders to apply in all aspects of their talent management activities and foster an environment where all employees feel valued and included. People Practices § Drive operational excellence across all aspects of the HR function ensuring all policies and practices are fit for purpose and compliant; § Develop and manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring that the best talent is attracted and retained; § Create and maintain an effective performance management system that supports employee growth and development; § Design and implement training and development programs to ensure that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles; § Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disputes, and disciplinary procedures; § Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations; § Provide regular reports to senior management on HR metrics, including employee turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction. Team Leadership § Build a high performing HR function, drive performance through the setting of clear objectives, investing in development and ensuring regular performance review and feedback; § Build capacity and capability in the team such that they can support the business achieve its goals. Put in place a clear structure for succession; § Delegate appropriately retaining accountability through continuing oversight and active challenge of information and analytics received. CANDIDATE PROFILE The successful candidate: § will have relevant experience in the luxury hospitality sector, with a deep understanding of the service level required and customers’ expectations to be satisfied; § will have a passion for the countryside hospitality and a sensitivity to the unique cultural, environmental and experiential factors that make Toscana Resort Castelfalfi such a special destination; § will demonstrate ability to perform in a fast-changing environment that entails profound transformation, growth and uncertainty; § will be an analytical, resilient and collaborative leader, with the ability to work with an array of stakeholders; § will demonstrate a strong balance of strategic focus and operational/hands on approach; § will be a natural leader, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, and the confidence to make tough decisions when necessary; § will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as with external stakeholders; § Will have the ability to think creatively about how to attract, develop, and retain top talent in a competitive market; § will have experience in designing and delivering effective training and development programs, with a focus on continuous improvement and employee engagement; § will have experience in building a strong company culture, with a focus on teamwork, communication, and employee wellbeing; § will be fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken, with proficiency in other languages considered a plus; § the understanding of seasonal business operations and the ability to manage fluctuating demand and workforce requirements will be a strong plus. Education and Experience: § Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field; § At least 7-10 years of experience in HR, with a focus on the hospitality industry; § Strong knowledge of Italian employment laws and regulations; § Experience working in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
