Apo Kidapawan City Office time type Full time posted on Posted 7 Days Ago job requisition id JR00002239 Unleash your energy within Be a part of the EDC Team Formulate, implement, supervise, and/or enhance the implementation of site environmental monitoring & pollution control plans and SOPs, including but not limited to the following: Environmental monitoring and observation In-situ measurements, and sampling (of environmental media, geothermal and related products or by-products) Permits acquisition, Data analysis and interpretation, Report preparation and submission to regulatory bodies, Database management, Baseline profiling for new or expansion areas, Conduct of special studies, as needed Equipment maintenance, Gathering of data for resolution of environmental issues & concerns Coordinate with Internal and External Stakeholders: All internal EDC customers (Business Devt, Facility Operations, support groups) Laboratory analyses related to project needs Quarterly activities of project management team or similar team External parties: local stakeholders, community, technical working group committee meetings, symposia, fora, product demonstrations, and the like to continually access developments on new regulatory policy requirements and other relevant information, and applicable technologies Appraisal of Environmental and Laboratory Technician/services; and, Prepare budget proposals and monitor expenses for Environmental Monitoring The Environmental Officer may periodically travel to head office and other project sites for work-related functions and training. The job requires field work/hikes in rugged terrains in different weather conditions, and may involve exposure to heat, rain, natural hazards. Based on the urgency of certain deliverables, the Environmental Officer may be required to render work beyond office hours. The Environmental Officer will also act as one of the official company representative in attending engagements outside EDC.
