EOSS Software Engineer

We are looking for a junior software engineer that has already gained some experience in full stack software development. He/She will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, system configuration and delivery, field IT support. Required knowledge and expertises: OS Linux and Bash/Sh scripting Networking and IT principles One or more programming languages (e.g. Python, PHP) Relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) They would be considered as desirable the followings knowledges and expertises: C/C++ language Software versioning tools Container-Based Software Architecture Key requirement and expectations on the role: University degree graduate in CS / ICT Engineering or similar technical degree conversational and technical English for communication at international level self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in teams accuracy Identify potential problems, either technically or procedurally, be active in proposing solutions The engineer will be involved in: Integrated Monitoring System delivery and configuration troubleshoot and support Operating Department during field installation; create and maintain technical manuals and operating procedures if needed; attend meetings to provide and receive updated information Prysmian Group, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills and abilities, who will enhance the quality of service and contribute to the Group’s success.
