We are currently seeking a Field Sales/Business Development Analyst to join the DHL eCommerce Cross-Border Solutions team in Italy. The Field Sales/Business Development Analyst will be responsible for the revenue generated from a geographically assigned sales territory (or business portfolio) by servicing and retaining existing customers and targeting new business opportunities. The successful incumbent will identify new business opportunities, acquiring and maintaining new accounts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Customer & Stakeholder Management: Explore, develop, and win new businesses or assigned projects. Develop and maintain strong existing customer relations and loyalty by ensuring customer satisfaction. Provide regular updates and resolutions to business challenges and customer satisfaction. Work with other Business Units to generate potential leads. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure cross-functional collaboration, ensuring a high quality of service is delivered. Promote the DHL brand image and values through personal appearance and behavior to reflect DHL’s high standards. Process Management: Build a strong client relationship to ensure accounts perform and grow to their maximum potential, reducing attrition rates. Implement and execute sales activities to achieve target budgets and maximize growth within the existing customer base. Conduct product presentations and present customized offers to customers. Continually develop knowledge of products/services and general commercial awareness to provide the best possible solutions for customers. Provide feedback and recommendations to further improve business operations. Partner with CBS Sales teams to coordinate customer requests and sales efforts involving internal expert teams, such as customer operations and customer service. Explore opportunities for increased and profitable sales on new and existing accounts based on analysis of internal data and market insights. Gather information and insights on the market to assess potential and identify new business development opportunities, provide information on competitors and suppliers Identify and execute initiatives to drive business growth with support of subject matter experts (e.g. Marketing) Identify and initiate contact with prospects, follow up on leads, assess customer needs, and support the preparation of proposals. Explain facts, practices, policies, etc., to both internal and external parties adhering to narrowly defined procedures, standards, and guidelines. Administer field sales plans and processes to achieve sales objectives and revenue growth for a defined geographic region, product line, or market segment. Desired Skills / Qualifications: 3 – 5 years of professional experience in the Sales/eCommerce industry. Ability to identify and meet customer needs in a pleasant and friendly manner. Excellent presentation skills and communication skills in Italian and English, both spoken and written (telephone and email skills). Analytical and sales skills, project management skills. Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Good understanding of the eCommerce industry is an advantage. Familiarity with the DHL network is advantageous. Minimum Educational Qualification: A degree in Business or a related discipline.
