What you would do as our Field Service Engineer
The service technician is responsible for on-site doors installation and external technical service when required. He manages the doors installation in autonomy both from mechanical and electrical point of view.
You would also:
• Use all the safety devices as fulfil the safety company recommendation. Installation of new pedestrian doors and entrances systems for ASSA ABLOY, as of replacements.
• Provide technical support (by phone) to external technicians and subcontractors, if required, and interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products technical instructions.
• Be responsible for interventions repair of doors and entrances c/o customers. Technical surveys for evaluation operations to be performed for installation or replacement of doors and inputs.
• Do doors and entrance automation mapping. Accurate compilation of installation reports and maintenance records using all the company software tools.
• Be responsible for sales of spare parts and optional according to company policies. Management of entrusted material (Van Stock). Annual inventory of the material in inventory guarded (Van Stock).Entrusted the vehicle management.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
• Has knowledge of customer service principles and practices product knowledge (industrial doors technical knowledge is a plus)
• Knows technical know-how in electromechanical equipment and hydraulic/electronic automation. Also, technical knowledge of entrance systems and industrial automation in general.
• Has experience: at least 3 years in a field engineers roles (doors and screen installation).
• Has Education: technical degree or high school diploma
• Is experienced in informatics: knowledge of relevant computer applications (word, excel, access, mailing systems, order process modules in ERP systems)
